Tempered Glass Replacement — What It Involves
Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than annealed glass and breaks into small granular pieces rather than shards — which is why California requires it (or laminated glass) in doors, shower and tub enclosures, sliding panels, railings and large panes near the floor.
