Glass Repair & Replacement in Scotts Valley, CA
Scotts Valley is the first Santa Cruz County city off Highway 17 and the closest to our San Jose base — a small city in a redwood-ringed valley between the summit and Santa Cruz. The housing is hillside and wooded: 1970s–90s homes on Bean Creek, Granite Creek, Vine Hill and Lockhart Gulch roads under the trees, the Skypark neighborhood built on the old airport in the 1990s and 2000s, newer houses at Polo Ranch, townhomes and condos off Blue Bonnet Lane and Navarra Drive, and several mobile-home communities. Mount Hermon Road and Scotts Valley Drive carry the retail and restaurants, and the office parks toward Green Hills Road were once home to Seagate and Borland and are where Netflix was founded.

Glass Repair & Replacement in Scotts Valley
Redwood shade is the glass issue here rather than salt: moss and standing moisture on north-facing frames rot wood sash and fail dual-pane seals, limbs that come down in winter storms break view windows, and hillside homes carry large panes that have to be measured on site. Because Scotts Valley is on the near side of the hill, it is the shortest Santa Cruz County trip from our San Jose base — still a planned visit, so tell us the road, the opening and how we get to the house.
Local note: Redwood-shaded hillside homes where moisture and falling limbs take out seals and view glass, Skypark and Polo Ranch newer tracts, and Mount Hermon Road retail and office-park glass at the top of Highway 17.

Glass Repair in Scotts Valley — FAQs
Scotts Valley is the first city past the Highway 17 summit — the shortest Santa Cruz County trip we schedule. Visits are still planned from San Jose; tell us the road and the opening when you call.
Call with the opening size and we can talk through board-up to secure the house; the glass is then measured and replaced in the correct thickness and type for a large pane. Access to hillside homes is planned with you in advance.
When the sash is sound we replace the glass or the sealed unit and keep the frame. Where rot has gone too far the sash itself needs a carpenter or a full window replacement, and we tell you which it is on the visit.
Those San Lorenzo Valley communities are unincorporated Santa Cruz County, not Scotts Valley. Give us the address when you call and we’ll tell you whether a visit can be planned.
