Window Glass Replacement in Sausalito, CA

Window glass replacement for Sausalito homes and businesses, from Waldo Point Harbor (floating homes) to Old Town. New window glass cut to your frame — insulated, tempered or low-E. Glass Depot Repair Bay Area schedules Marin County visits from San Jose, and the first step is a free estimate over the phone.

We replace single-pane glass, sealed insulated units, tempered safety glass and low-E energy-efficient glass. Because many Bay Area homes still have failed dual-pane units from their first replacement wave, we see a lot of fogged glass — and a new sealed unit restores the clarity and insulation without touching the frame.

Everything here faces the water, and the water is salt. Wind through the Gate drives spray and fog against seaward glazing, so slider rollers and window hardware corrode, sealed units fog and glass pits; on a floating home the frames also move with the deck. Tell us when you call whether the property is on the hill, on the flat or on the water, how it is reached — a Bridgeway address with parking is a different job from a 90-step stairway — and which opening is affected. Sausalito visits are scheduled from our San Jose base, and estimates are free. For Sausalito’s Hillside view homes on The Hill, Spencer Avenue & Wolfback Ridge with Bay-facing glass walls and railings and Old Town & Hurricane Gulch Victorian and craftsman cottages with wood sash, window glass replacement means new glass measured to the actual opening, in the type the location calls for — tempered, laminated or insulated — with a free estimate first.
